Our team provides comprehensive technical support to ensure seamless use and integration of the LanguageCloud platform within your community. We offer step-by-step online tutorials covering the tools and methodologies used for language resource development. These tutorials guide users through every aspect of the platform, from basic navigation to advanced features, ensuring they can fully leverage the platform's capabilities. Additionally, we provide ongoing training and mentoring to community members, helping them to build and maintain their language resources effectively. Our dedicated support team is available to address any technical issues, provide personalised assistance, and ensure that the LanguageCloud platform meets the unique needs of each community, fostering a smooth and productive experience for all users.

We assist in creating and maintaining dynamic dictionaries that reflect the rich linguistic diversity of each First Nation community. Our approach involves close collaboration with community members and language speakers to document and preserve their languages accurately. We offer comprehensive support, including step-by-step online tutorials for using the tools and methodologies essential for language resource development. Additionally, we provide ongoing training and mentoring to empower community members to manage and expand their language programs independently. LanguageCloud ensures that all data remains under the control of the community, respecting data sovereignty principles. This platform empowers First Nations by providing a secure and controlled environment where communities can store, manage, and access their linguistic and cultural data. With features such as customizable permissions and robust security measures, LanguageCloud guarantees that only authorized community members can access sensitive information. Our commitment to data sovereignty means that communities retain ownership and control over their data, ensuring it is used in ways that align with their values and goals. Our experienced project managers help guide communities through the implementation process, ensuring successful adoption and usage of the LanguageCloud platform. We collaborate closely with community leaders and members, aligning our approach with their specific needs and cultural contexts. This collaborative effort ensures that the platform is tailored to support each community's language revitalization goals. Our project managers provide continuous support, from initial setup and training to ongoing assistance, fostering community direction and involvement. By working hand-in-hand with the community, we ensure that the LanguageCloud platform is effectively integrated and utilized, empowering communities to take full control of their language programs and achieve lasting, meaningful outcomes in language preservation and revitalization.

In line with the Band Reparations Class Action lawsuit against the Government of Canada that was settled in 2023, 325 class member governments will receive funding relating to four pillars:

• revival and protection of our languages
• revival and protection of our cultures
• protection and promotion of heritage
• wellness for our communities and our people

Prior to accessing full funding, each Nation will need to create a long term plan that identifies how they will support the four pillars. Our comprehensive Four Pillars Community Plan Development approach is designed to streamline the planning process, enabling beneficiaries to access settlement funds and direct them toward impactful projects aligned with community priorities. We support community leaders, administrators, and members in creating a 5-10 year plan that identifies long-term goals, details phased action plans, and empowers implementation.

Our planning methods adapt to local governance processes, integrating local leadership at every step. When appropriate, we hire and mentor community members to lead the planning process, providing step-by-step tutorials to guide them through each phase. This collaborative effort aims to build capacity within the community, empowering local leaders to manage and sustain language and cultural revitalization efforts independently, while also helping to secure the necessary funding and resources for long-term success.
