Every Indigenous community has its own language journey. Languages differ. Histories differ. Priorities differ. Resources differ. Yet many communities face similar challenges involving:

Over the years, FNEF has worked alongside communities at many different stages of revitalization. Some communities were just beginning their language journey. Others had already spent decades collecting and preserving language resources. While every journey is unique, several important lessons consistently emerge. Those lessons may help other communities navigate their own revitalization efforts.
